"Clever" vanity plates?

On my way home today I was cut off by a lovely gentleman who turned on his blinker after he squeezed in front of me which caused me to get annoyed but the annoyance passed as I got up closely behind him at the light & saw his license plate which read NRICO but the clever lad ordered an Eastern Michigan University license plate so it would read ENRICO...smart right?  Well, it might have been if the plate weren't covered by a Wayne State license plate plastic cover thingy.  It just kills me how people think they are being all smart by using college license plates to help them make their vanity plate!  Perhaps if they actually went to college & got a degree they would know that not only are vanity plates dumb but it doesn't sound very smart when someone says "oh, you went to Eastern?" and your dumb ass says "no...see, I used the E to spell my name".  I see this all the time with the Michigan State plates too, people use the S & then make a word off of it...these are not building blocks people, they say "hey, I went to school here" so if you didn't go to school there then please stop ordering their license plates.  Actually, I think if you want a school plate you should be required to prove that you were at least at some point a student or employee there!  I mean, you have to prove you are a veteran to get a veteran plate don't you?  Also, just so you know I did try to get a pic of Nrico's plate but my windshield was so dirty you can't see it, sorry but I tried!

This was on this site which is supposed to be the 10 worst sexy Halloween costumes & honestly, most of them are freaking hysterical...not sexy at all but funny as frick.  This one was my favorite, I'd likely trip over the slut hanging off my "junk" but it's still funny!!!

Thank God they finally came out with this, I'm sure tons and tons of little girls have been asking for a pole dancing doll & now they can have one!  This has to be one of the worst things ever & I totally blame Miley Cyrus & her pole dancing stint at the Teen or Kids Choice Awards (or whatever the hell it was) for it.  The only thing I'm now thinking is why the eff didn't I think of this?

I went and saw this on Wednesday & it was freaking hysterical. The beginning was a little slow but once it picked up I was laughing my ass off. References are made to everything Detroit & then some, it's not just some political satire blah blah comedy show, they make fun of everyone from Eminem to the Bernstein family. So while performing in Rio it was super rainy outside & though Madonna had an umbrella guy he could only keep up when she was standing still. Basically, Madonna was dancing in the rain & fell on her ass & oddly enough it was during "She's Not Me" and let me tell ya, it took some cool points from her. I think it is perfect karma for her to fall on her ass while singing about how freaking awesome she is. As much as I love her she did some shitty stuff to Guy & their family & I think this was just a bit of karmic retribution. Check the video below, it's pretty funny!! It's kind of long but she falls about a minute into it :) I also noticed during my searches for this video that she has tripped before & almost fallen before during the same song...maybe she should give that one up!! She falls a lot actually but is pretty good about covering it up...a true dancer, you never stop, the show must go on!!

SWAT Face Off on Turkey Day

This has to be one of the best stories I've heard in a long time. So apparently on Thanksgiving night in Montgomery Twp, NJ there was a 5 hour standoff between SWAT and a gentleman who was inside a local bank and assumed to be attempting to rob the bank. The alarm at the bank went off so local police came to check it out & discovered the man inside & then SWAT got involved. Three apartment buildings in the immediate area were evacuated just to be safe. Bull horns & phone calls were used to attempt to make contact with the person inside the bank & no response was given, no contact came from inside at all so after the long & tiring stand off SWAT decided to enter the building & when they did, they discovered a cardboard cutout of a person. There was nobody inside & nobody knows what tripped up the alarm but it could have been a large dust bunny, a big bug, a mouse, but certainly not a stationary piece of cardboard!!! Talk about a waste of tax dollars.

Jet's Pizza Blog

For those of you who are not on Myspace & have never had the pleasure of reading one of the best blogs ever, and for those of you who loved it the first time I've decided to post my infamous Jet's Pizza story. I would also like to thank the celebs for keeping it calm this weekend which gives me the chance to post this!!

*A little background for those who don't know me: Doug & Candice are my former roommates & we lived about 6 or 7 blocks from Jet's.

"Yes, I'd like to place an order"

"Ok, what can I get for you?"

"Small square meaty & a small square with pepperoni and bacon"

"Dougs # here"

"Pickup or delivery?"

"Delivery please"

Slight coughing from Jets employee

"Are you still there? Sorry about that...ma'am as part of our customer appreciation week because you have ordered from us over 100 times this order will be free" pause "we do ask that you still pay the delivery fee of $2.50"

"Ok sounds good, thanks"

"Have a great night"

Ok, 1 yes it is beyond sad that we have actually ordered that many pizzas in the what, 3 years this location has been open. B this does not count the other times Candice or myself actually used our own number to order a pizza or 3 the handful of times over the last three years that we actually went and picked it up.

Doug always complained that he was eating too much pizza and I started to realize it when a few months ago I ordered a pizza from my phone & gave them my number & when I answered the door the guy said "what happened to Doug? When I pulled up to the house I double checked the ticket." I told him that was pretty sad when the pizza guy knows your name. Bottom line here is, we eat too much freaking pizza!

But it's just so tasty
