Katie Stram is our new Miss America. Now, I didn't watch the pageant because now that I am an adult I have better things to do than watch a pageant on a Saturday night but it made me think how excited I would get for the pageants when I was a kid. It's very similar to the way I feel now about the Oscars I assume, looking forward to seeing all the dresses & pretty people all in one place & thinking that maybe, just maybe one day I'll be on that stage!! Well at any rate, congrats Katie, I read that you were fighting laryngitis so I hope you feel better & I hope they used a special microphone for you :)
