DJ AM...not a suicide?

I don't buy that one bit! Here is an excerpt that I nabbed from E! "Adam Goldstein died accidentally of "acute intoxication" after consuming a lethal cocktail of cocaine, painkillers, sleeping pills and mood-alterers including OxyContin, Vicodin, Benadryl, Xanax, Ativan and Klonopin." I'm sorry but nobody accidentally takes cocaine & then 8 other things on top of it & not to mention that the initial reports said that he was found with Oxy in his mouth that he wasn't able to take due to losing consciousness.  Who accidentally takes 9 Oxy on top of all those other drugs?  That's right...someone who is trying to kill themselves.  I think the only reason they are saying all of this is because his show is coming out on MTV very soon about substance abuse & DJ AM is trying to counsel these junkies to make better decisions.  I feel awful for his friends & his family but really, they should use his death as an example on the new show like a "see what could happen to you if you keep on the way you are" kind of thing.  Regardless of what the reports claim I am very certain that he was pretty messed up from that plane crash & couldn't take it anymore...I'm not saying that his suicide was planned, I think that maybe the suicide was accidental like he was just hoping that all those drugs would wash away the pain when in reality it washed away his life.

I'm so effing sick of road construction!

What the eff is going on? All these "putting Michigan to work" signs all over the place & orange barrels right underneath them yet guess what? Nobody is effing working! I was 15 minutes late today because the road crew had ten mile tore to shit complete with large pot holes which I'm sure fucked up my car in some way as I had to go through about 20 of them. It's pouring rain outside and these jackasses are moving around barrels & fucking up everyone's morning commute...even the school bus who pulled a u-turn in an attempt to find an alternate route. The street outside my apartment is also all tore to shit & nobody is working on that either but they were putting up some new barrels this morning! This has been going on since August on both streets & I'm sorry but here's my thought...fucking finish it & be done!! All they are doing is repaving the road & if they can tear out, replace the sewers & repave Garrison in 3 weeks I don't see why this shit should be any different...oh that's right, I live in Oakland County now & they are very lax about all road maintenance. During all the snow last year I would notice that even 3 days after the snow fell they still hadn't salted or plowed 10 mile. I wonder if the lag in getting the work done is that the people that are doing it are corporate people who lost their job & settled for this one. They have no clue what the hell they are doing so they just stand around & wait for instructions, given the "putting Michigan to work" theory that would kind of make sense. Honestly I don't give a shit who is doing the work I would just like it finished right away, like seriously, I would appreciate both roads being done by October 15th, thanks!!

Oh Khloe, Don't Be Stupid!!

So I'm sure you have all heard by now that Khloe Kardashian is getting married to Lamar Odom who plays for the Lakers. At least the couple have been dating long enough to make an informed decision to get married, I mean, a whole month...that's like a decade in celeb years.

According to Khloe's blog they are getting married on Sunday, yes this coming Sunday & it's so convenient that filming for Keeping Up is currently underway, I wonder if we'll get to see the nuptials on the show?  Personally, I don't get it, this guy must have taken quite a few hits to the head because he looks like he's missing a few pieces in the chess set. I'm guessing he must be hung like a horse which is great, but it's no reason to marry someone.  I give this marriage 6 months at the most, with him leaving for the basketball season soon I can only see lies & cheating in their future.  I hope I'm wrong because even though she's an idiot, she's still my favorite Kardashian sister.  So good luck to Khloe and Lamar as they embark on one of the biggest mistakes they will ever make!!

OMFG, how did I not know that Mackenzie Phillips had an affair with her dad for 10 years?  That's right...she was getting freaky with her father, I'm sorry but that is just sick.  This apparently happened in the 80's & 11 years later Mackenzie told her half sister Chynna about it which shocked the shit out of her & obviously disgusted her as well.  If you want to learn all about the affair then pick up Mackenzie's new book High On Arrival in which she apparently dishes all.  I knew this girl was a mess & had major drug problems for the majority of her life but I'm sorry, nothing can drive you to screw your father!!

I can't believe I forgot to mention this dress in my Emmy review, Victoria Rowell (have no idea what she was/is in) opted to sport an Obama dress.  Seriously?  She looks like a total fool & I would love to know what he thought of it!!

Worst Dressed Dolls!

Ok so I'm not even going to post my favorites because I wasn't really blown away by anyone!  Not everyone looked like shit though I think a lot of ladies just played it safe.  Here are the gals that were definitely lacking in the fashion department.

We have Leighton Meester in a white dress that looks to be 10 sizes too big with kleenex flowers on the shoulders.  Christina Applegate's dress is just too damn busy and those bows & single sleeve just make her look lopsided.  Then we have the muppet like Kyra Sedgewick in this awful rose colored velvet looking curtain like number.  She's got a killer body & I really wish she would learn how to dress it.  Finally we have the lovely Padma Lakshmi, the dress is a beautiful color & fits her like a glove but I tell you what, remove those shoulder straps, just leaving the halter & remove that stupid & useless bunch of red flowers on her hip & she'd look like a million bucks!

Worst Dressed Dude!

Hands down it has to go to John Cryer...Duckie is still lacking in fashion sense apparently.  I am really glad he won, especially after last season...he was really funny & now that the kid is older the show is based more on Charlie & Alan & their personal lives & Alan is a great character & he plays him perfectly!!

Worst Dressed Couples

So, I love me some Thomas Jayne and honestly I don't even know if he's with Patricia Arquette or not, I thought she was married & not to him but I could be wrong.  Anyway, she looks like an idiot whose tit is about to bust out of her dress & his pants...are they pajamas?  Arquette always looks like shit so I would like to just put it out there that maybe she get a stylist!

The other couple is Andy Samberg & some broad in an extremely ugly cheap ass dress that she likely bought from Dots.  Could this chick possibly match any more?  Her earrings match the dress & then that HIDEOUS necklace matches her bag & likely the shoes too.  This just proves that most men don't know shit about fashion or they would wear a better fitting tux, do their hair, and not let their woman leave the house looking like she's in a housedress.

Trends on the carpet

So I missed most of the red carpet but I'm noticing that a major trend on the ladies is a fresh face with a no makeup look with nude lips & I like it, it leaves the dress as the main event.  I'm enjoying seeing a nice array of colors on the ladies this year as well, not so much black which just gets boring.  I think John Cryer looked like an idiot in that awful military/MJ vest...not a good look, thankfully he's funny.  A lot of the men are now sporting the black thick rimmed glasses, JT started doing it last season & now it seems that a lot of guys are picking up on it...not sure how I feel about that.  I love men in glasses but the big ass black rim isn't flattering on anyone, not even JT!

Just in time for the holidays!!!

Thank God they finally came out with this, I'm sure tons and tons of little girls have been asking for a pole dancing doll & now they can have one!  This has to be one of the worst things ever & I totally blame Miley Cyrus & her pole dancing stint at the Teen or Kids Choice Awards (or whatever the hell it was) for it.  The only thing I'm now thinking is why the eff didn't I think of this?

Simspson is even more dumb than we thought!

So Jessica Simpson's dog Daisy, a caramel colored malti-poo (gift from ex-husband Nick Lachey) was taken by a coyote right in front of her the other day.  As if her life hasn't been shitty enough lately what with getting fat & losing her boyfriend the one thing she could rely on to be there was snatched right away from her!  I feel bad for her and all but really Jess...you really think you are going to find the dog?  I knew she was dumb but I didn't think she was that dumb, she has actually made & put up fliers with Daisy's pic & a reward offered (coyote's love rewards).  Why doesn't someone break it to her that her dog was more than likely eaten by that coyote & perhaps some of it's friends & family minutes after it was taken?  Coyote's aren't exactly known for being kind creatures who borrow smaller live animals for fun...they eat them, that's what they do & Daisy was simply dinner so she needs to accept that & move on. 

GaGawd Awful!

Ok, I have to discuss Lady Gaga's "fashion" choices at the VMA's.  What is with her?  She wore multiple outfits and I have to say that my favorite one was the red number that covered her whole face for obvious reasons.  Her performance was good but what was with her playing the piano with one leg on it?  I think it was done to prove that she doesn't have a penis.  I'm still unsure if she's a man or not, the truth will come out (no pun intended) sooner or later.  Her constantly being teamed up with Perez is kind of creepy, I mean sure, every girl loves her gay but those 2 just may be a couple if she is in fact a man.  Regardless they obviously have the same stylist & that stylist needs to be replaced by someone more capable like Rachel Zoe, she may need a sandwich but she's a pretty good stylist most of the time!  If you didn't get the pleasure of seeing her lovely gear check out this link!
