The French Are Always Naked!

So we all know that the French could care less about showing a tit here & there in their magazines while us folks here in the US are just far too conservative for that or actually the people who regulate magazine ad are. Anyway, French Elle's cover this month (April) features 8 women (different covers) who are appearing with no makeup or re-touching of any kind. The women featured are celebs not just fools off the street or anything & I guess it's similar to Star Magazine when they do their celebs without makeup specials except these people actually knew their photos were being taken. Anyway, the women just look like women not celebs & that makes them much more identifiable & real than any of the ladies we have on the cover of our magazines!!!

Wanna Lose Weight? Are You Lazy?

Check out this article with some simple 5 minute recipes. Me being the extremely picky eater that I am I always have a hard time with diet recipes but I found at least 1 dish per meal that I would totally eat & probably not have to substitute anything. I think it sucks that everything healthy always includes almonds or cottage cheese or yogurt & just thinking of those things make my stomach turn! Anyway, most people aren't as picky as me so I'm sure you could find something you would like. Enjoy!!

Phil Spector is One Guilty Mofo!

Phil Spector is a murderer! Finally a celebrity gets punished with a life sentence for a crime that he committed & was accurately convicted of. After a mistrial back in 2007 I'm sure he thought he'd be fine this time around but not so much. Spector shot & killed the cult actress Lana Clarkson & then told his driver that "he thought he killed somebody"...sounds pretty cut & dry to me. Apparently Spector was a totally whack job according to his ex wife Ronnie Spector & other colleagues like John Lennon who he once pulled a gun on. He produced some excellent music over the years but definitely a whack-o. Anyway, check out the full article here if you like.

Why Gay Marriage Is A Bad Idea!

I "borrowed" this from someone on Facebook & it was just too sarcastic not to post!! You all know I love my gays & I stand up for their right to divorce just like the rest of us. I'm not the biggest fan of marriage in general but I don't stand in the way of my friends who want to enter into that union, in fact I usually pay a lot of cash to participate because I love them & want them to be happy & if/when the divorce comes around I'll help them burn the personal belongings of the ex. I just don't understand why I can't have this same privilege with my gay friends too, it's really not fair & in all honesty...gay marriage would be one of the best ways to stimulate the economy. Gay men have impeccable taste & would likely spend hefty sums for their nuptials & if a divorce was needed that's again money to stimulate the economy, why can't every state see that?

1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans

I Hate Nicole Kidman

And after looking at this pic I hate her even more. She's sooooo overdressed for the CMA's or ACM's or whatever country music awards show was on last night. She really needs to wake up & smell the cocktail dress. Sure some of the ladies wore full length dresses but not that many & those that did weren't all sparkly & blingy...most of the men wore jeans & a sport coat...ok? This also brings me to Kellie Pickler, she is one scary & ugly bitch but this dress she has on makes it 10 times worse! She looks like a fish...for real except she can't pull it off like Anne Hathaway, sorry sister! While I love Le, her dress was cute but the shoes & accessories & lipstick were all a big mess.

Nay Nay Madonna!

So I love Madonna & all but I also think it's pretty humorous that the courts in Malawi will not allow her to adopt the 3 year old kid (Chifundo "Mercy" James) she was trying to get. The judge will not allow her to adopt stating that she needs to live in the country for 18 to 24 months & apparently that is a requirement which was why she had such a hard time adopting David on the first go. I don't see why she doesn't just pick another country, or maybe if she did some good will for the country (not just donating cash) they would overlook her lack of residence. I mean, she just rolls in, buys a kid & goes home, at least Brangelina does good deeds for the countries that they adopt from as well as many others. Yes Mo does give money to support orphans in Malawi which I'm sure is a big help but it's not the same as providing emotional & physical support to those kids which is what they really need. So I assume Madonna will appeal the decision like she did last time & probably win like she did last time too and I'm sure the people will have a field day if they let her slide. When she adopted David they went crazy saying that she used her celebrity status to get what she wanted & a small part of me has to agree. Click here for article in Us.
