Beyonce in scrap jewelry?

Have you ever sold scrap gold to one of those Cash-4-Gold places you see on TV?  Maybe gone to one of those "sell your old gold" parties...well I always wondered what was done with all of that gold & last night I finally figured it all out!  It was turned into a dress for Ms. Beyonce, talk about recycling!  I wonder if she just turned in a bunch of old gold that belonged to her & her husband or if that really is the bracelet my ex got me that I sold a couple years ago?

Ok, now even though I will say that I sing along when I am stuck listening to this due to lack of anything else I still don't think this song makes one bit of sense. I'm sitting here reading the lyrics & she makes it sound like women don't have these rights that the men she is singing about seem to enjoy daily so let's do a little break down shall we?

But you’re just a boy, you don’t understand how it feels to love a girl - Um, other than boys only lesbians know how it feels to love a girl, it's us girls who make everything out to be so much bigger than it is, maybe just maybe if women did in fact behave like Beyonce's version of men then there wouldn't be all these crazy bitches following their men to see who they are with or grilling them about where they were. Bottom line in any relationship is if you doubt them, end it! After looking at these lyrics & scientifically analyzing them I think this song should be called "If I Were Still Single" because that's basically what she's getting at, if I were still single I could do whatever I wanted like she seems to think boys do & now that she's married she no longer has the luxury. That's my opinion!

James vs. Knowles

LOL, I just read an article which said that Etta James doesn't like Beyonce & thought that her performance of At Last at one of the inaugural balls was terrible & said "You know that woman he had singing for him, singing my song, she's going to get her ass whipped", ha ha ha ha. She also states that she can't "stand" Beyonce, lol. Now I'm not a huge fan but I like Beyonce and I also like Etta James & being that she is the original I'm going to have to take her side on this one! You tell em Etta, a remake is ever as good as the real thing anyway.

Exploiting Kids

Ok, have you all seen this? Personally I think it's sick & disgusting. When you look at all the comments everyone just thinks this is the cutest thing, well I don't. Teaching a 3 year old (she obviously didn't learn it on her own) to mimic a grown ass married woman who is singing about things that a small child doesn't need to know about is disturbing & poor parenting if you ask me. Sure, the kid has moves but she doesn't need to be dancing around to Put A Ring On It, why not put her in dance classes where she can learn how to dance to music that is appropriate for kids? Sure, little kids acting grown up can be funny & cute but watching a little girl slap her own ass and dance around on camera is not cute, yes I laughed watching it, but more because I couldn't believe that any parent would do that. My guess is that they are hoping that Ellen will see the video & have her on the show because it's so adorable but all that proves is that they are using their child to try get ahead which is also sick & twisted. I discussed this with a friend of mine who caught her daughter a few years ago dancing in their computer room so she took video of it & her daughter didn't know, well she posted it on You Tube thinking it was cute & funny & some gross pervert left an "I'd tap that" message...she was 7!! Posting videos like this (they have numerous ones of this girl) on sites like You Tube is only feeding into the child molester mind set, it's just a bad idea all around & I wish parents would stop doing this to their kids, it's not cute & it's not safe either, wake up & take a look at the world today, do you really want your little girl plastered all over some creepy guys computer? I don't even like kids & I find this just sick & wrong!!

Bad Breath

So today I heard on the radio that Beyonce has the worst breath in show business. Apparently her breath is the reason that Nas broke up with her in the past & according to the story her breath is so bad she can't share a microphone with anyone else & her choreographer arranges routines so that others don't have to come face to face with her & deal with the stench. Obviously Jay-Z isn't affected by her issue so I tend to think that maybe he has the same problem, or...the sex is so good he just puts up with it! People say that she just doesn't seem to get the hint when offered Tic Tacs or gum or whatever so friends are suggesting an intervention, lol. With all the money she has why wouldn't she see someone about her issue? Well, I hope all works out for her & her funky mouth :)
