Was that titty worth it Kwame?

Well, it appears that Kwame is in trouble after some sexual misconduct during a visit from his wife.  First of all if I were her I would just let him rot, I wouldn't be visiting & I certainly would not allow him to touch me.  He's a freaking pig & she should have left him a long time ago but whatever, she can go ahead & be dumb, that's her choice.  According to the article he did some "inappropriate touching" & groped his wife's titty which is not on the list of touching that is allowed.  According to Russ Marlan who is the spokesman for the Michigan Department of Corrections "prisoners are permitted one kiss and one embrace at the beginning and end of a visit, and when posing for a photograph, he said. They may also hold hands, but no further contact is permitted".

Arnold Reed who is one of Kwame's lawyers thinks the charges are ridiculous but noted that the rules are the rules & whether they are ridiculous or not prisoners need to abide by said rules.  Mike Paul who is an NY based rep of Kwame's says that the guard is just trying to make a name for himself.  He also said "This is his wife. Not his girlfriend, not a guard, not somebody he met there at the prison.”  So?  The rules aren't specific to each person you may come in contact with...they apply to everyone & if titty groping isn't on the list of appropriate touching then he shouldn't be doing it, period & special exceptions shouldn't be made because of who he is.  I mean, if Joe Blow did the same thing he'd get in trouble as well but Paul thinks he should have been given a warning & not written up...I thought that being informed of rules in any situation is a warning...follow these or YOU LOSE!  Anyway, this could adversely affect his possible option for early parole but we won't know any more for some time since Kwame is currently in Fedreal custody.  This just keeps getting better & better doesn't it?

Kwame is killing me!!

Ok, this trial is just a mess & Kwame just keeps making a fool out of himself.  All he keeps saying is "I don't know" or "I didn't understand that" and this whole turn over your tax refunds debacle...he says he didn't understand that he had to pay his tax returns to the restitution department.  Well, I'm not an attorney but I understood that he had to fork over his cash refund because it was printed in black & white.  Kwame was an attorney & if he truly doesn't understand anything being said to him then how the hell did he pass the Bar exam?

Now he says he doesn't know what his wife's job is..."homemaker I believe"...really?  Where did your wife get all the money that she donated & opened up funds with? "I don't know".  Dude, if your wife doesn't earn any money then how can you not know where she got the money to make donations or whatever?  Obviously, all the money that you & your wife spent came from you!!

I have to say that the look he keeps making whenever a question is asked is freaking priceless...he gets this look on his face like he's never even heard the words coming out of the mouth of the lawyer, you can see this look on his face in the picture attached.

Now, the questions I would like answered are: where is he staying while he's hear for the hearings & who's paying for it?  During this hearing he has had to fly to MI from TX twice (so far) so who's paying for the flights?  All he keeps doing is taking more & more cash from the city & in my book that's not cool!  If I had five minutes with him I would just like to say "dude, you are the definition of hood rich, you spend all your cash on big ticket & label items & can't pay your debts, nothing is in your name, you seem to think that the world owes you something when in reality you owe us all an apology & a lot of effing money! Oh and your wife is an asshole for staying with you because you are just using her to put everything in her name".

Ok, well I guess I should get back to watching it even though the last 20 minutes has just been lawyers arguing with each other and the judge but if you want to tune in, click here!

It's showing at Andiamo Novi until September 16th & you can print a buy one get one voucher off the site as well. Go check it out!!

Locked Up!

So yesterday was the big day, our buddy Kwame started serving his time in prison. We get 4 months of a Kwame free Detroit, woo hoo!! During the time that he is in prison the city will elect a new mayor, I can't wait to see who that ends up being...I'm sure the election will be an interesting one. I guess Kwame's digs aren't too bad but really, I think he deserves "pound you in the ass" prison so I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that someone makes him their bitch. Best of luck Kwame, I hope prison is absolute hell for you & you cry yourself to sleep every night!!!

More Kwame

The big hearing regarding getting Kwame out of office is streaming for me right now (10:30 am ish)…I’m very excited to see what’s the what!! So K is saying that this whole thing is unfair because Granholm is biased and he can’t get a fair hearing. I also find it amusing that he’s not present due to what sounded like me “is in New York on business” but isn’t he required to remain in Michigan until this hearing is over or was it one of his other hearings? So now the judge is reading and talking and basically speaking gibberish! I would like him to start speaking English & say something I want to hear. It seems as though both sides have turned in info showing how others have done similar things & either walked away or been axed so that really serves no purpose. They are talking about fair & just treatment but really it’s the city that needs fair & just treatment, which means that Kwame has to leave. I got a Sunday paper but haven’t had the chance to read it but apparently Kwame was ready to make an offer that would include him leaving office or some such business. Obviously I’ll have to read the article otherwise I’m just talking out my ass.

Ok so basically, the judge said that Granholm is more than welcome to move forward with her hearing (tomorrow) to remove Kwame from office. Kwame’s peeps want to file an appeal while Granholm’s team is obviously against it. Judge said if you want to appeal go ahead but I’m not gonna stay. The judge made a couple jokes about all the paper work he’s been dealing with & he seemed like he was very happy for this issue to move forward & I’m guessing out of his lap…at least for now.

Please Remove Him!

You know, all this Kwame business is no longer funny, it's freaking embarrassing for the city. Detroit already has one of the worst reputations of any city in the entire country and now this?! I mean come on, Kwame's face is all over CNN, and I'm sure has been all over Best Week Ever on VH1 too. I just don't understand what is wrong with him that he would want to stay in his position, he's making a fool out of himself and Detroit and he sees nothing wrong with it. After the jail time and constant court dates he still remains mayor and a government that would even allow someone who committed perjury to stay in office obviously lacks a lot. In any other country he would have been thrown in jail immediately & I'm sure in some...killed, yet we just allow him to continue to work! It isn't like he's the manager of a Dairy Queen, he's the freaking mayor of a large metropolitan city that he keeps abusing to get ahead. I'm beyond sick of all of this crap & when Granholm makes her decision it better be to remove him, Detroit has suffered enough at the hands of their "leader" it's time they get to move on!!

Kwame Update

Ok so Kwame appears to have been in and out of court all day & he now has to post 10% of a $25,000 bond to get out of a jail, he has been fitted for a tether & is not allowed to leave the state. This is the mayor of freaking Detroit & while I guess it's what is expected from the D it's still a huge embarrassment! If he would have just stepped down after the perjury thing then the focus on him & the city wouldn't be so strong but he's obviously too selfish to worry about the city. It just amazes me that he thinks he's some major celebrity & deserves all these special treatments...dude, you are no different than anyone who lives here & had I lied in court & pushed a cop I don't think I'd be sitting on my lunch break blogging, I'd be in prison for god knows how long!!

It's Jail For You Kwame!!

Kwame was sent to jail this morning!! Apparently he made an unauthorized business trip to Windsor & though he apologized it didn't matter. He has to post a bond of $75,000 or get his lawyers to convince the court to overturn their decision before he can be released. The only problem this poses is the fact that there is no current Deputy Mayor since Anthony Adams is currently working for the Water & Sewerage Department. We'll see what unfolds from here!!
