Oh Khloe, Don't Be Stupid!!

So I'm sure you have all heard by now that Khloe Kardashian is getting married to Lamar Odom who plays for the Lakers. At least the couple have been dating long enough to make an informed decision to get married, I mean, a whole month...that's like a decade in celeb years.

According to Khloe's blog they are getting married on Sunday, yes this coming Sunday & it's so convenient that filming for Keeping Up is currently underway, I wonder if we'll get to see the nuptials on the show?  Personally, I don't get it, this guy must have taken quite a few hits to the head because he looks like he's missing a few pieces in the chess set. I'm guessing he must be hung like a horse which is great, but it's no reason to marry someone.  I give this marriage 6 months at the most, with him leaving for the basketball season soon I can only see lies & cheating in their future.  I hope I'm wrong because even though she's an idiot, she's still my favorite Kardashian sister.  So good luck to Khloe and Lamar as they embark on one of the biggest mistakes they will ever make!!

David Letterman Marries...Finally

David Letterman (61) finally married his girlfriend of 23 years Regina Lasko (apparently ageless) last Thursday. Regina isn't just his wife now, she's also the mother of their 5 year old son Harry. According to a transcript from his show David had this to say " ... I had avoided getting married pretty good for, like, 23 years, and I -- honestly, whether this happened or not -- I secretly felt that men who were married admired me ... like I was the last of the real gunslingers".

The couple married in a simple & quiet courthouse ceremony in Montana near their ranch. Harry was there to share the day with his parents.

Meet The Brady's

Looks like Tom Brady (31) & Gisele Bundchen (28) got married yesterday (yes, on a Thursday) at the St. Monica Catholic church in Santa Monica California. They had a formal small intimate ceremony at dusk & the bride wore a Dolce & Gabanna gown with a floor length veil. The couple have been together for just about three years and he's said before that she is "the one" so let's hope they can keep their spirit alive together for many years to come! Congratulations to the happy couple!!!

Jugs Marries Frenchie

I can’t believe I forgot to post this one! Salma Hayek married her baby-daddy Francois-Henri Pinault on Valentine’s Day, awww barf. They married in a simple civil service in Paris & I don’t get it, they had just ended their engagement & then they turn around & get married anyway? Maybe the engagement was never called off, maybe she’s pregnant again or maybe he figured out that it doesn’t get much better than Salma Hayek & begged her to take him back. In my opinion…she could do better!

Oh No They Didn't!!

Heidi & Spencer & his flesh colored beard got married in Cabo on November 20th. First of all, who gets married on a Thursday & 2nd of all she said as soon as they said their vows she couldn't stop crying. You know why? That's right, she knew at that very moment she had made the worst decision ever & that her life was officially over! Apparently she didn't tell her parents but she did call her mom before it went down & said something was up & her mom (because she's smart) asked if they were breaking up! Anyway, Spencer said after Heidi read him some passages from the Bible like "love thy wife" when they were on some Mexican getaway he told her she should start planning their wedding again. Notice how he said she should start planning...I'm sure that is why they eloped, either that or because she totally effing pregnant! Look at that pic, why would she wear a flowy dress when everything she wears is always skin tight? Also, notice how his arms are around her belly? Also, what is with the ring? on her finger...it looks like electrical tape. She has to be pregnant, it looks like her belly is bigger than her boobs & with those implants & her skinny body she must be like 5 months by now!!! Let me point out how they had a "secret" ceremony but of course didn't forget to invite Us Weekly!

Bitch, Bitch, Bitch

Ok I have to bitch about a couple things right now.

I don’t know if you deal with this or not but how annoying is it listening to people talk low or whisper at work? I sit in my cube and all I can hear is psss pss pss pssss pss pss buzz a buzz pss psss psss and it’s annoying. If you don’t want people to hear you then email or write it down because it drives others crazy to hear you just so you know.

I would like to bitch about my “friends” who seem to forget to tell me things. I shouldn’t have to call upon other friends to find what is going on with you. When I talk to friend A & they tell me that friend B has her asshole boyfriend living with her & then I talk to friend B and she says nothing about it that’s a problem. When I talk to friend C and they tell me that friend A moved, yet I talk to friend A and they don’t mention it, that’s a problem. When I talk to friend D and they tell me that friend F is getting married and I talk to friend F and it isn’t mentioned that’s the beginning of a battle. Let me tell you a story about friend F, we’ll call him George. George and myself have been friends for about 10 years I’d say or at least damn close to that. We have been very close over the years and been through a lot of ups and downs together. He had some major relationship issues with another mutual friend (friend B actually) and all hell broke loose and I was the one he came to, I was there to help him pick up his pieces via email, face time, phone calls…the whole 9. So after he recovered from this trauma he met someone else and they started dating & at first she was really nice, totally cool and then one day I get a voicemail that uses up my entire message box and it is a message of girlfriend (we’ll call her Cybil) going off on George asking where he was & why he didn’t answer his phone & who was he with. This was pretty early on in the relationship so I kind of assumed he’d be walking away after that but nope he just apologized for the message & that was that. George is not the type of man I would want for a husband, he likes to wander/stray at times or at least he did in the past and I’m a firm believer that people don’t change.

So anyway, George & I remained good friends for years although he lived out of the country for a bit for work & traveled a lot with Cybil who by the way moved in to his house while he was out of the country forcing his roommate at the time out of the house (what a bitch). Years go by of hanging out here & there when time permitted but Cybil was never in attendance. Actually I had not seen Cybil since 1/1/05 & on a fluke we were all out for dinner one night about a year ago & ran into George & Cybil & she said nothing to anyone & she actually hid behind George while he talked to all of us. Strange? Yes! So a few months back I hear from a friend that he heard from another friend that George was getting married so I called him out on it & he said yes he was. A couple weeks ago I get a text from another friend asking if I got my invite, which I had not. Over the last couple weeks this has been a big dramatic event waiting for the invite, which I finally received yesterday…via email, very simple “BTW- did you want to come to my wedding?” no joke, that was the format! Now there was far more drama involved over the last couple weeks than I just told you but George sent me the link for their wedding site & I read their story & it says that they got engaged in September 2007…are you effing joking?!?! Some “friend”, he was engaged for a year & every time I said “what’s new, how’s Cybil” he always said, oh not much & she’s well, can’t really complain. I also find it odd that he made sure he told me that his grandma was getting married, but not himself, who does that?! So, the wedding is in like 3 weeks…do I wear white or red? I am definitely going just so I can find out what all the secrecy was for & due to such short notice I’m not going to be able to give them a gift. Awww, bummer!

On a totally unrelated note, Kate Hudson please cut your sons hair or at least brush it, thanks!!

DeGenerossi Follow Up

They wore Zac Posen…not Cavalli but I will say in my defense that the gear they are wearing (photo in the article) is not what I saw the designs of on another website right after they announced their engagement. Congrats to them, I’m so happy & excited for them!!!

DeGenerossi is Saying I Do!

So, Us Magazine tells us all that Ellen & Portia are getting married this weekend! I’m so excited for these two because they have been together for a long time so they must be absolutely thrilled. They appear to be so in love it’s so sweet to see for a change rather than all of these straight couples who seem to jump from one to another to another and so on. Now, I assume that Ellen will wear a tux as she should while Portia will probably wear a stunning gown…I believe that Roberto Cavalli designed their gear. I know I read in some magazine back when they got engaged that a major designer had given them sketches already and for some reason Cavalli is standing out in my head but don’t hold me to it! I just want to tell them congratulations for being so happy, so cute, and finally so married…just like the rest of America but hopefully they are not putting up a front & pretending to be happy like 80% of straight married Americans.

Congrats to the Waltons

I wanted to be sure to stop in and wish my fab 4 counterpart Lisa & her new husband Mike a big fat congrats! Lisa & Mike got married on Saturday & I’m sure the ceremony was beautiful. I couldn’t be there because I had a major appearance to make at my local Meijer to buy some fruit & I didn’t want to miss the strawberry festival. Ha, actually that’s what I ended up doing this weekend, I couldn’t attend the wedding because I was too poor, period. I did have beers with Wendy & Karen in honor of the happy couple to celebrate though. I didn’t have to be in attendance to congratulate them & party it up & I was able to do it in sweats :)

Anyway, I hope you crazy kids have a great honeymoon & a blissful life together forever and ever. Hugs & kisses guys & I hope to see you in January.
