Another Movie Review

Pineapple Express: This movie was also funny, but not in the same way at all. This movie is also geared toward stoners and on a much larger scale. I think those who have never smoked pot will appreciate the movie, probably find it funny at times but more than likely they just won’t get/appreciate it. The basic plot is this, Dale (Seth Rogen) who is a process server rolls by Saul’s house (his dealer played by James Denton) and buys a bag of this exquisite weed (Pineapple Express) so he can finish up his day. So Dale gets his bag & gets back to work and when he arrives at his final stop to serve his last subpoena of the day he happens to witness a cop (Rosie Perez) & the person he is serving (Gary Cole) kill someone (Asian dude). In a panic he throws the joint out the window & takes off, little did he know, the man he was serving was the one who sold his dealer’s dealer the Pineapple and they are the only ones who have it. So as all this occurs to him he rushes back to Saul’s and tells him what is going on & they gather up all the pot and snacks & hit the road. They spend the night hiding out in the woods and continue their journey the next day. They get into all kinds of shenanigans while dodging both the police (crooked & not) and the dealers while the movie sort of turns into a live action Scooby Doo but not lame and actually funny. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie & would suggest it to others, especially stoners!
